One of Jaipur's most visited temples is Khole Ke Hanuman Ji Temple. The temple, dedicated to Lord Hanuman, is situated on the Jaipur-Delhi route in a beautiful location. It is hidden away in a Laxman Dungri hill valley. The majority of Jaipur's Hindu followers certainly went to this temple at some time. It is Jaipur's most well-known and often visited Hanuman temple. With its numerous Rasoi (kitchens), Sawamani Prasaad, and Dal Baati Churma in Jaipur, the temple is famous. 

History & Significance: It was Pandit Radhe Lal Choubey who founded the temple. He built the idol of Hanuman ji, began to worship, and continued till the very end. In 1961 A.D., Pandit Radhe Lal Choubey also established the Narwar Ashram Seva Samiti to further the construction of the Hanuman Ji temple. The temple was barely 100 square feet in size when it was first constructed, close to the location of Laxman Doongari Hill. However, as time went on, it gained popularity and expanded to many acres of land, around 300 times its original size.

You have probably seen many red or orange idols of Lord Hanuman. Have you ever seen a black idol of Lord Hanuman yet? One of the few places in Jaipur where you may see a black Hanuman statue is the Kale Hanuman Ji Mandir. It is close to Hawa Mahal and receives regular visitors throughout the day. However, the location gets very busy on Saturdays as worshippers compete for Lord Hanuman's favor.

The temple's uniqueness was further defined by the remarkable preservation of a tree that had grown naturally in the space throughout construction.

However, the Shila Devi Temple in Jaipur, a location where religion, history, and an unforeseen ritual all come together, is hidden inside this ancient castle. Here, alcohol is offered to the goddess and then distributed to followers as prasadam, compared to other Hindu temples, where offerings consist of flowers or sweets. Doesn't that seem unbelievable?
