Itinerary

Day 1

The morning after arriving at Bangalore Airport or Railway Station, you will be transferred to Hampi. On the way, you will visit the famous Chitradurga Fort. This fort was built between the 10th and 18th centuries by the local rulers. The Chitradurga Fort is known for its seven layers of walls, with many passages, a mosque, a citadel, water reservoirs, grain and oil warehouses, and old temples. After visiting the fort, continue your journey to Hampi. Once you reach Hampi, check-in at your hotel and rest overnight.

Day 2

After breakfast, get ready for a day of sightseeing in Hampi. Start by visiting the Sri Virupaksha Temple, located in the western part of Hampi Bazaar, where you can also enjoy some local shopping. Hampi is well-known for its amazing management and historical significance. There are many other important sites nearby, such as the Lakshmi Narasimha, Stepped Tank, Royal Enclosure, Shri Krishna Temple, Hazara Ram Temple, and Dasara Dibba. A short walk from the Hazara Ram Temple (about 500 meters) will take you to the Lotus Mahal, a beautiful structure in the Janana Bada area. This building is shaped like a lotus flower from above, with arches that resemble lotus petals, making it look like a half-open lotus. The central dome is shaped like a lotus bud. The Kamal Mahal is built in a unique Indo-Islamic style. Next, visit the Archaeological Museum in Kamalapur, which showcases artifacts from the ruins of Hampi and nearby areas. After a day of exploring, return to your hotel for an overnight stay in Hampi.

Day 3

Today, wake up to the vibrant spirit of Hampi as you experience its Holi celebrations. The day will begin with a visit to the Hampi Bazaar and nearby temples, followed by immersing yourself in the colorful festivities of Holi. Join the locals as they celebrate the festival with joy, throwing colors, dancing to music, and enjoying the lively atmosphere. You can also take part in cultural performances and enjoy traditional Holi sweets. After the celebrations, head to the famous Anegundi village, known for its ancient temples and scenic beauty. Return to your hotel in the evening to unwind after a day full of vibrant energy

Day 4

After a delicious breakfast, check out from the hotel and proceed to Bangalore International Airport for your onward journey.
