The Hagia Sophia Mosque; The building, which is now used as a mosque, was built at the time of the 1st Manuel Komnenos (1238-1263). Following the conquest of Fatih Sultan Mehmet in 1461 in Trabzon, the building was converted into a gallery and became a foundation work. Sera Lake; The length is 4 km. The average width is 150 m. The deepest place is 55 m. It was formed by the closure of a slope after 3 km from the coast of the Sera Valley, which was poured into the sea. After these exciting times, we will head to Ayder Plateau to see the waterfalls, and hot water
springs and have lunch in the fresh air. Our last stop on the way back to Trabzon will be at the
Ottoman bridge to drink Turkish tea.
We are starting our journey towards the Sumela Monastery. We continue our panoramic journey through the valley of the Golden Stream and arrive in Montenegro, where the Sumela Monastery is located. First of all, we take our souvenir pictures from the viewing terrace and leave our vehicle in the car park. We reach Sumela Monastery by walking on the path for about 15 minutes. After our one-hour break, we take our place in our vehicle and head towards Zigana Mountain.
We stop for 1 hour for lunch in our restaurant located in the lush pine forests. During our break, you can eat, take photos, and enjoy the fresh air. After our 1-hour free time for our next stop, Karaca Cave, for our Karaca Cave trip, we start our return journey. Our cute town, Hamsi, which is the homeland of the rice pudding on the skirts of the Zigana mountain, stops by the village and we look at the taste of the magnificent milk pudding.
