Itinerary

Day 1

Arrive at Salalah International Airport and enjoy a private transfer to your hotel. After check-in, begin your Salalah City Tour with a visit to the stunning Sultan Qaboos Mosque, a majestic landmark that reflects traditional Islamic architecture. Explore the colorful Al Hafah Souq (Salalah Central Market), perfect for shopping for local spices, frankincense, and Omani handicrafts. Continue to the Al Baleed Archaeological Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, where you can walk through the ancient ruins and visit the Frankincense Museum. End the city tour at the lively Fish Market, offering insight into Salalah’s coastal culture

Day 2

After breakfast, set off on a private guided tour of East Salalah’s natural wonders. Begin at Taqah Castle, capturing beautiful photos of this historic fort. Continue to the lush Wadi Derbat, famous for its seasonal waterfalls, tranquil pools, and frankincense trees. Visit Taiq Cave, perched on the edge of one of the world’s largest sinkholes (211 meters deep), and take in the geological marvel. Proceed to the coastal village of Taqah, known for its golden beaches and turquoise waters. The day ends with panoramic views from the summit of Jabal Samhan, a scenic viewpoint overlooking the vast countryside and the Arabian Sea.

Day 3

Today, embark on a thrilling 4x4 Desert Safari through the Qara Mountains and into the heart of the Rub Al Khali. First stop is Wadi Dawka (UNESCO site), home to the largest natural grove of frankincense trees. After a short stop in Thumrait, an old Bedouin town, head toward the vast Al Nejd gravel desert. Visit the fabled Lost City of Ubar (Atlantis of the Sands), a legendary ancient city that mysteriously vanished beneath the sands. Conclude the journey in the majestic Empty Quarter (Rub Al Khali), the world’s largest sand desert. Here, enjoy dune bashing, sand skiing, and soak in the mesmerizing sunset over the golden dunes—a once-in-a-lifetime experience!

Day 4

After a leisurely morning at your hotel, the afternoon is reserved for a special cultural encounter. Begin your journey to a traditional camel farm where you’ll step into the pastoral world of Oman’s desert life. Meet friendly local farmers and gain insight into how camels are raised, nurtured, and cherished in Omani culture. Witness a live camel milking demonstration, interact with playful baby camels, and capture unforgettable moments through your lens. The experience is made even more authentic with a tasting of fresh camel milk followed by a sampling of camel meat — a rare and traditional delicacy in Oman. This immersive visit offers a heartfelt connection to the local way of life, combining education, tradition, and hospitality in a truly memorable way
