Itinerary

Day 1

Arrival, immigration, and customs formalities, meeting a representative at the Delhi airport by a transfer to the hotel after the meet & greet at the airport and transfer to the hotel

(Hotel rooms will be available from Noon 1400 hours)

Later proceed for Half day sightseeing. drive past Red Fort, Later visit Jama Masjid, a red sandstone structure is one of the largest mosques in India and can hold 25000 people during Friday prayers. Stroll through the narrow lanes of Old Delhi one of the oldest markets in Delhi.

Continue with sightseeing of New Delhi, drive past the central avenue of the city with state buildings the Sansad Bhawan (Parliament House) and Rashtrapati Bhawan (Presidential Palace), which at one time served as the Royal Residence of the British Viceroys who ruled India. Later take a short photo stop at India Gate. Also visit Humayun’s Tomb, the Tomb of the second Mughal emperor in India was built in 1570 and it was the first garden tomb in India.

Day 2

Breakfast at hotel

Morning proceed for Jaipur and on arrival check-in at the hotel

Afternoon Lac” bangle-making workshop - The lac bangles are exciting creations from resin crafted by the artisans. These bangles are an integral part of the culture in North India and attract locals as well as tourists from the world across. Appreciate the process, where the craftsperson very competently transforms a sticky substance into beautiful and colorful bangles

Later enjoy a short Rickshaw ride at the old market area (The Pink City), where all the shops are painted pink continuing the history of Jaipur. Rest of the day at leisure. Overnight at hotel

 

Day 3

Breakfast at hotel

Morning sightseeing of Jaipur city visiting Amer Fort, Hawa Mahal, City Palace and Observatory

Amer Fort: Located approx. 11 km from Jaipur city, this ancient capital of Jaipur was founded in 1592 by Raja Man Singh. A UNESCO World Heritage site, constructed on a small hilltop in red sandstone and marble, it is a great example of Rajput architecture with influences of Mughal architecture in some places. The Fort contains Sheesh Mahal (palace of mirrors) in the main courtyard. The Fort has many gates known as “Pol” like Chand Pol, Suraj Pol, Ganesh Pol, etc. The Fort also contains many rooms diwan-e-aam (Hall for commons) & King’s rooms and Zenana Mahal rooms used by ladies of the house. 

En route to Amer Fort, photo stop at Hawa Mahal (Palace of the Winds), built in 1799 CE, which is one of the main attractions of Jaipur. Perfect to stop for a while for pictures.

City Palace. The palace covers a vast area and is a complex of courtyards, gardens, and buildings. Part of this palace today is a museum, which includes 3 halls: Weapons, Textiles and Artifacts. A part of the palace is still used by the royal family as their residence

Day 4

Breakfast at the hotel, Morning depart Jaipur for Agra, and on arrival check-in at the hotel

Later visit the Taj Mahal & Agra Fort

Taj Mahal (closed on Friday) One of the seven wonders of the world, the legendary architectural monument built by Emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his sixteenth wife, Mumtaz Mahal. Located on the right bank of the Yamuna River, a UNESCO World Heritage. Taj Mahal represents the finest architectural and artistic achievement through perfect harmony and excellent craftsmanship in a whole range of Indo-Islamic sepulchral architecture. An interesting facet of the Taj Mahal is that it changes colors throughout the day. During sunrise, it appears to be pale pink; in the afternoon, it is sparkling white; and in the evenings, it turns a bronzish-orange as the sun sets. In late evenings, the Taj appears to be light-bluish in color.

Agra Fort stronghold of the Mughal Empire. This impressive fortress holds many stories in its deep red sandstone walls that span almost 3 kilometers (two miles) long. Explore its various palaces, halls, and mosques that showcase exquisite Mughal architecture. Day 5

Breakfast at hotel, Morning approx. 0830 hours, depart Agra for Lucknow en-route visiting Kannauj attar

On arrival in Kannauj traditional welcome at the perfumery with Jasmine Flowers. Later Further Create your signature fragrance, identify ingredients at the perfume bar while soaking in the fragrant history of our 8th generation perfume house.

Afternoon a 7-course fragrance & flavor pairing dining experience of delectable regional and local cuisine. Continue by visiting The archeological museum that houses artifacts and sculptures dating back to 1500 BC.

Later continue the drive to Lucknow and on arrival check in at the hotel, Overnight stay at the hotel  

Day 6

Breakfast at the hotel, Morning Full day sightseeing visiting Bara Imambara, Chota Imambara, Lucknow Residency, and Hazratganj Market.

Bara Imambara (Closed on Monday’s): Also known as the Asfi Imambara, after the name of the Nawab of Lucknow who got it constructed, it is an important place of worship for Muslims. It is also the world's largest structure that is unsupported by beams, Bara Imambara is considered a marvel of engineering and a fine specimen of Mughal architecture

Chota Imambara: Also Known as Hussainabad Imambara is the composition of Imambara Mohammed Ali Shah which was constructed in 1837 AD. It is believed that Muhammad Ali Shah was buried here. In the Chota Imambara is the story of Muhammad Ali Shah's daughter and son-in-law. It has a great sample of Indo-Persian architecture. It is also known as the 'Kremlin of India'.

Hazratganj Market: A Victorian–style shopping area. The British built it on the lines of Queen’s Street in London and it houses some of the oldest and most iconic shops

Lucknow Residency: A Residential complex, a group of several buildings constructed between 1780 and 1800 AD, which once served as the residence for the British Resident General, a representative of the British in the court of the Nawab. It is also a witness of the First War of Independence to one of the most memorable sieges of the British stronghold by the Avadh forces in 1857

Day 7

Breakfast at hotel

Morning depart Lucknow for Ayodhya and on arrival check-in at hotel 

Afternoon visit Shri Ram Temple – The temple and its premises were completed, and the inauguration, along with the Prana Pratishtha ceremony of Ram Lalla, was done by Prime Minister of India, Shri Narendra Modi. Ayodhya is known as the birthplace of the Hindu deity Rama of Kosalya in the great epic Ramayana and the temple here is a sacred abode for the Hindus.

Rest of the day at leisure. Overnight at hotel 

Day 8

Breakfast at hotel, on arrival in Varanasi, assistance at the airport and transfer to hotel

Late afternoon visit Kashi Vishwanath Temple and stroll through the famous ghats of Varanasi. Then, in the evening, enjoy the brilliant prayer ceremony (Aarti) on the banks of the Ganges River.

Day 9

Take an early morning boat trip on the Ganges River

Return back to hotel for breakfast

Morning proceed for a tour of Sarnath. Located 10 km from Varanasi, this place has religious, cultural, and architectural significance. At this place, Lord Buddha gave his first sermon after he attained enlightenment at Bodhgaya. Also explore several parts of the UNESCO World Heritage site including Chaukhandi Stupa, Dhamek Stupa, Tibetan Temple, Ashoka Pillar, and visit the Archeological Museum.

Morning transfer to airport to connect flight to Delhi and on arrival in Delhi clients make own arrangements to connect onward international flight
