Itinerary

Day 1

Arrive in Nairobi. Transfer to your Hotel. Check in and enjoy a welcome drink. Leisure time to relax and freshen up at the Hotel. Afternoon: Lunch own account Spend the afternoon exploring the hotel’s amenities like the pool, gym, or spa Evening: Dinner at one of the hotel’s restaurants. (Own account)  
Day 2

Morning: After breakfast, drive to the Masai Mara (approximately 5-6 hours). Afternoon: Check-in at your accommodation in the Masai Mara at Mara Serena Safari Lodge

Evening: Go on an introductory evening game drive in the Masai Mara, famous for its abundant wildlife and the Great Migration (if visiting during the right season). Dinner & overnight at the lodge Meal plan: full board

Day 3

Early morning game drive to see the wildlife at its most active. Late Morning: Return to the lodge for breakfast and rest. Afternoon: Option to visit a Maasai village for a cultural experience, or take a hot air balloon safari (Optional cost, highly recommended). Late Afternoon: Another game drives to explore the Maasai Mara further, spotting giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, and more. Evening: Dinner at the lodge, and enjoy the Mara night sky. Dinner & overnight at the lodge Meal plan: full board 
Day 4

Morning: After breakfast, depart from Mara to Lake Elementaita (around 4-5 hours drive). Afternoon: Check-in at your accommodation at Lake Elementaita Serena Camp Evening: Relax by the lake, enjoying the stunning views of the Great Rift Valley. Dinner & overnight at the lodge Meal plan: full board
Day 5

Morning at Lake Elementaita: Take a short walk or enjoy a relaxing morning by the lake. Depart for Mombasa (approximately1 hour by flight). Check-in to your hotel in Mombasa at Serena Beach Hotel Evening: Spend the rest of the day relaxing on the beautiful beaches of Mombasa.

Dinner at your hotel. 

Day 6

Optional activities: Visit Fort Jesus: Explore the UNESCO World Heritage site that dates back to the 16th century, and learn about the history of Mombasa. Explore Old Town: Wander through the narrow streets of Mombasa's Old Town, known for its Swahili architecture and history. 

  • Lunch at a local restaurant serving Swahili cuisine. (Own account) 
  • Relax on the beach: Spend the afternoon relaxing. 
  • Dinner at the hotel
Day 7

Optional Activities: Marine Park: Take a day trip to Wasini Island or the Mombasa Marine National Park for snorkeling, diving, or a dhow cruise. Alternatively, visit Haller Park to see the wildlife conservation efforts, or enjoy some shopping and local culture. Relaxation time: Enjoy your final evening on the coast with a sunset view and a relaxing dinner by the beach at the hotel.
Day 8

Transfer to Moi International Airport (MBA) for your departure.
