Sightseeing covered during the trip:

Acropolis: The Acropolis of Athens is a renowned symbol of ancient Greece and a UNESCO World Heritage site. Sitting majestically atop a rocky hill, it has served as a cultural hub for over 2,500 years. This historic site is home to several remarkable structures, including the Parthenon, the Erechtheion, and the Temple of Athena Nike, showcasing the peak of classical architecture and artistry. Dedicated to the goddess Athena, the city's patron, the Acropolis was central to Athenian religious and political life. Today, it stands as a powerful testament to the achievements of ancient Greek civilization, drawing millions of visitors from around the globe and offering a fascinating glimpse into a magnificent past.

Parthenon: The Parthenon is an awe-inspiring temple situated on the Acropolis of Athens, dedicated to Athena, the city's patron goddess. Constructed between 447 and 432 BCE during the zenith of the Athenian Empire, this architectural gem exemplifies the Doric order and is renowned for its exquisite proportions and detailed sculptures. Designed by architects Ictinus and Callicrates, the Parthenon once housed a massive statue of Athena Parthenos, created by the sculptor Phidias. Its timeless beauty and historical importance make the Parthenon a symbol of ancient Greek civilization and democratic principles. Today, it draws countless visitors eager to admire its grandeur and recognize its influence on Western architecture and culture.

Panathenaic Stadium: The Panathenaic Stadium, also known as Kallimarmaro, is a historic sports venue in Athens, Greece. Originally built in the 4th century BCE for the Panathenaic Games—an event honoring the goddess Athena—the stadium underwent a marble renovation for the first modern Olympic Games in 1896. With a seating capacity of around 45,000, it is the only stadium in the world made entirely of white marble. Renowned for its distinctive horseshoe shape, the Panathenaic Stadium was the site of the inaugural modern Olympics. Today, it stands as a symbol of Greece's rich athletic legacy and continues to host various events, attracting visitors keen on sports history and culture

The Academy of Athens: The Academy of Athens, established in 1926, serves as Greece's national research institution and is one of the leading centers for scientific and intellectual advancement in the country. Housed in a magnificent neoclassical building designed by architects Theophil Hansen and Ernst Ziller, the Academy is crucial in fostering research across a variety of disciplines, including the humanities, natural sciences, and social sciences. It hosts esteemed scholars and researchers who enrich Greece's cultural and scientific landscape. Renowned for its extensive library and archives, the Academy of Athens is dedicated to promoting knowledge and education, making it a vital pillar of Greek academia and a symbol of the nation’s intellectual legacy.

Plaka: Discover Plaka and the Old Town, where history springs to life. Enjoy cozy cafes, charming shops, and ancient landmarks like Anafiotika and the Lysicrates Monument. Archaeological Site of Delos: Upon arriving at Delos, your guide will provide tickets to the archaeological site for the group and share an introduction to the island’s mythological, prehistoric, and historical significance. Then, you’ll set off to explore the narrow streets of the Hellenistic City, established in the 4th century BC. Your tour will conclude at the Sacred Lake, home to the eternal Naxian Lions. You'll have time to explore the archaeological museum and the museum shop before returning to your boat.

The Windmills (Kato Milli): You’ll visit the iconic Windmills of Mykonos, facing north. The strong Meltemi winds have historically aided locals in milling wheat. Windmills are a common sight on many Cycladic islands, built for the same purpose.

Little Venice: Every path you wander on Mykonos will lead you to the Alefkandra harbor, where you can delve deep into the island's history. This area is home to Little Venice, where you can enjoy breathtaking views of the endless blue Aegean Sea.

Agrari Beach: This expansive sandy beach, popular among both locals and tourists, still provides ample space for relaxation. It's typically divided into two sections: one side featuring umbrellas and sunbeds, while the other remains untouched sand. The beach boasts crystal-clear waters and a reasonably priced restaurant compared to other spots on Mykonos.

Monastery of Panayia Tourliani: Upon reaching the village of Ano Mera, you'll visit the 16th-century cathedral monastery of Panagia Tourliani. It is named after the church's dome (tourlos) and the revered Icon of the Virgin Mary.

Church of Paraportiani: The beautiful church of Panagia (Virgin Mary) Paraportiani is one of the most photographed churches not just in Mykonos, but in the entire world. Situated at the entrance of the Kastro neighborhood, right by the sea, its name (Paraportiani) translates to "standing next to the entrance door," indicating its location next to the castle’s entrance.

Agios Ioannis Diakoftis: The Agios Ioannis settlement is named after the small church of Saint John, perched on the hill overlooking the beach. This area is one of the most desirable locations on Mykonos Island, offering breathtaking views of the sacred island of Delos and home to some of the island's finest hotels.
